Therapeutic
Touch Intensives
For those who have taken the Basic Level TT Classes and who are practicing and want to deepen and enhance their experience as a Therapeutic Touch therapist. These events are designed to deepen your connection with your inner-self as well as assist you in advancing your TT skills.
FEBRUARY TT Intensive in Eugene:
Focus: Discussion of group on how we as practitioners care for ourselves when we are giving TT to healees who are more ill or even terminal, both from an emotional perspective and an energetic perspective. Also included will be the opportunity for TT practice.
Where: NCHAC - 466 W. 17th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97401
When: Saturday February 25th, 2012; 10am to 2pm with one hour break for lunch. Fine to bring brown bag lunch if desired or go with group to nearby restaurant.

Basic
(Beginner's) Level Workshops
These are workshops for people in the medical field, as well as others, who wish to become more aware of the energetic interaction that occurs between practitioner and client or patient. TT is a wonderful modality to support a person's healing process on multiple levels while one is caring for him or her primarily on the physical level.
The book, Therapeutic Touch - A Practical Guide, by Janet Macrae is included in workshop fee. Also included is an online membership to NH-PAI, Inc, the international organization which qualifies TT Practitioners and TT Teachers.Workshop Objectives:
- Define the term Therapeutic Touch and distinguish it from "laying on of hands."
- Demonstrate the steps in performing Therapeutic Touch.
- Describe the theoretical basis for the technique.
- Define energy fields and experience the energy field using the hands as sensors.
- Discuss practical and ethical considerations related to using the technique.
- Describe the role that Therapeutic Touch plays in healing.
- Recognize three characteristics of the Therapeutic Touch therapist.
